Kronentor Dresden Fridge Magnet – Dresden Souvenir Magnet
Bring one of the world's most triumphant symbols of peace and Baroque architecture into your home with our sustainable Kronentor Dresden magnet.
Designed by master architect Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann and sculptor Balthasar Permoser between 1713 and 1718, the Kronentor (Crown Gate) is the spectacular gateway to Dresden’s world-famous Zwinger complex. Its defining crown jewel is the gleaming Polish royal crown (Polnische Königskrone), held aloft by four heraldic eagles atop an ornate pavilion—a tribute to Elector Augustus the Strong (August der Starke) and his royal title.
Spanning the moat to welcome visitors into the grand Zwinger courtyard, the Kronentor stands as an enduring masterpiece of High Baroque architecture. Our design distills this intricate portal into crisp architectural line art, capturing every delicate arch, niche, and regal detail in a clean, modern aesthetic.
-
Sustainable & High-Precision: Crafted with a focus on eco-friendly materials, local production, and long-lasting quality.
-
Minimalist Architectural Line Art: Captures the complex Baroque relief and iconic gilded crown in elegant, clean lines.
Unique Design Aesthetic
Our magnets stand out through their precision orthographic architectural drawings. By using clean, technical lines and avoiding perspective distortion, we capture the essential geometry and timeless beauty of the building's facade. It is more than a souvenir; it is a pocket-sized work of art for design lovers and collectors.
Traditional Craftsmanship
Each magnet is individually hand-made in our workshop using traditional bookbinding techniques. We produce in small series to ensure the highest quality and attention to detail for every single piece.
